BRIGHTEN UP YOUR PORCH FOR SPRING

Spring has officially sprung, and with it comes new ideas for decorating indoors and out.  And since your front porch is the first place your guest will visit it's the perfect place to start.

This is the perfect time to start adding fresh spring flowers to your porch decor.  I love to add spring flowers to vintage wood crates, metal bins, and baskets to brighten up the space.  Lanterns of all shapes and sizes are always in the mix when decorating the porch. I recommend adding battery operated candles that have a timer to turn on and off on their own. Large signs or chalkboards are great way to welcome all your guests.

Creating different vignettes throughout your porch adds a comfortable inviting feel for your guests.

If your porch is large enough add a seating area for your guest to sit relax and just admire the space your have created!  One of my favorite things to do is mix old and new.  Mixing vintage items with  newly purchased items you are creating a comfy homey vibe for all who takes a seat on your porch.
